Sixth Failure to Finish

I have been unable to complete this game as I cannot unlock the black box. I found all the stickies but keep getting 2 copies of "The Beginning of the End" and never a copy of "Chaos." I found all 30 "regular" blueprints and all 8 plane blueprints. But the plane blueprints are all locked up and I can't use them. I have all I need to repair the radio tower but have held off until I get all the sticky notes. But there are none left. I followed everyone's online guides and picked up every note. Still, I cannot unlock the box or build the plane.
This was the 6th time I started the game and tried to finish. One time I ended up with 3 copies of "The Beginning of the End" note. I am going to have to admit defeat until the developers fix this mess.

It's a ongoing bug with some of the quests, restarting won't help at all. We are deploying a fix for it on the next patch.

Thank you very much for the reply. With the latest patch, I was able to locate all the correct stickies, open the lock box, and repair the radio tower. But I am unable to build the airplane. I have all 8 blueprints. They are all locked. Am I missing something? Thank you.

I posted my problems 2 days ago could you please reply? I have a bug.. I cant type in the "report bug" box. Raft is standing on one end and immovable AGAIN! Walls, doors and planks are missing from my structures and back pack is still bugged. Some how the last object you used /moved appears again next time you use back pack and drops on the ground. Every time there is update/patch some new problem appears- even old ones too. It is so frustrating!!!

Now I have yet another problem. I have been to all the islands multiple times but am unable to locate enough components to build the plane. I even went into the water to find things to deconstruct. I am missing 7 circuit boards, 5 microprocessors, and 2 thermostats.
How do I get more components??

I know how frustrating it is to not find what you need, I have been there. I have some questions for you so that I might be able to help you out. This is just to get more information on you situation as I don't know what/or where you have found things so far. I am sure you have already broken all the items on the beach on both Big Plane and Lighthouse Island. That would be the main source of materials.
Have you found all the shipping containers with packages inside that you bring to shore and open up with an axe or knife? I know of a microprocessor on top of the tall spike rock in the water at Shark Lagoon Island, next to the one with the Lyre treasure on it, when facing the island it's the one on the left. It is glitched into the rock mesh so you have to look all around the top of the rock to see it and you can pick it up. There are a few items around the ruins there too, and I believe a cooling unit on a ledge below where you can get a lock box note at the lagoon.
There are several materials to find around the air planes on both Big Plane and Lighthouse Island. I found 1 circuit board at each location.
SOS Island there are several spots that have clusters of materials. The top of the cliff with the couple there is a circuit board and microprocessor at the flag and in the tent another circuit board I think. The cliff next to that there are materials on a ledge, when facing the beach/ocean. There is I believe a cooling unit on the ground in front of cliff next to that one on the sand and there is a couple of pieces behind the drop box next to the tent on the beach.
Multi Island has several random items spawn all around on the sand, it is tedious to look for as you have to go up and down a lot, I even found something after search there 2 times before.
I am going to do a video on finding materials and the locations of 'searchable' ones not just things you can break.

Thank you. Yes, I did find the shipping containers. I desperately needed two barrels for the plane. Not one was left on any of the islands (after I built my raft), so I went underwater and found them there (I can't remember what island it was). Yes, I found the components near the skeletons on SOS and on Big Plane. I was not aware of the microprocessor on the Lagoon spire, so thank you for that. I am still missing 6 circuit boards, 3 microprocessors and 2 thermostats. I had 3 thermostats in total but 2 vanished mysteriously.
We need the developers to drop more items to deconstruct. It's ridiculous that there is a shortage.
Also, I have never found any treasure in the sunken ship. Other players have stated that they float in the captain's cabin. There's never anything there.

I wish I had an answer for you to help you find what you need. I do know that the treasure in the sunken ship is there now, I found it. I show it in my update video. I am currently doing a live stream going through the whole game again. I was a beta tester so have started the game over too many times to count, lol. I will see if there seems to be a lack of materials this time around. I am determined to build that plane and leave the island again! I did a cursory check of your video. You probably know by now that resetting the Escape quest just means you have to pick up the cassette tapes again. The plane blueprints then unlock.
I looked in the sunken ship again...still no goodies.
I am pausing my attempts at this game until the developers add more items to deconstruct. I am sick to death of wandering around aimlessly wasting my life. "Kingdom Come Deliverance II" just came out and I am switching to that. I loved the first one.

I the same problem as Reese Cody; tore up everything on every island, still not everything I need to finish the plane (still need 2 circuit boards, 2 processors, 1 cooling unit, 2 fuel drums).

I feel like items should continue to wash up on the shore over time, giving you more opportunities harvest components. Either that, or let us research items and then craft them somehow.

The latest patch included several new cargo containers, four I think. They are underwater
just off the beaches. Go swimming. I think they are at Big Plane, Lighthouse, and Multi Islands.
