How playable is it?

Seems like there are a lot of bugs to work out. I understand this is an early release, but those of you who have spent time with the game... how playable is it? Should I hold off on playing till it's in a more 'finished' state?

This game is VERY playable right now! After this next update, which is very soon, we are hopeful that all the bugs will be fixed. I have made many videos on my channel for this game, it's the reason I started my channel! I actually completed all quests and got off the island. Of course there is more to come, but for now I am more than pleased with the game. They are going to eventually add more islands, quests and lore as the game progresses to the stellar game I know it will be! Just to let anyone who reads this know, I did not receive the game for free, I paid for it, and I have gotten my money's worth for sure! Great to hear. I've only played the first few minutes, but I like it already. The anxiety of sharks in the water as you swim to shore after the crash was great. I was having fun exploring the first island and I killed that Komodo Dragon. Few minutes later my health was low and I died of poison... prolly from the Komodo, but maybe from the hornet... I dunno because I wasn't watching out for that stuff at the time. Anyways, seems great so far. Haven't seen a bug yet, but I made this post because I see a lot of comments and reviews about bugs and stuff.

So you were poisoned by getting bitten by the Komodo. You have to eat ginger to cure the poison. The bugs are different on all islands. I turned off spiders, an option in the settings menu, I hate spiders, Arachnophobia: if you tick the box it turns spiders off. There are hornets and than on the other islands there are scorpions too. Oh and Leopards on 3 other islands, 2 of those islands have more Komodo's as well. You are safe from the sharks until you get to land. That's when the game really starts. Have fun! Hopefully the update is out sometime tomorrow so you don't get a bugged game.
