Not realy survivalish
I accidently smashed a few rocks due to the fact that the default settings are F and G, but then i could not find enough rock's to make a campfire anymore. Then i couldn't make cooked meat, so i ate some raw stuf. I got sick, tired, hungry, thirsty, no energy and no nutriants but the thing was i did not die for a long time. i only died because i got poisoned by the comodo. then i restarted from my savefile and still i managed to make a campfire and got my stats back up again very easy.

so short story even when all bars where at zero (except for health) i still could survive for a long time. I think it's weird that u can stay alive for such a long period with all bars at zero.

I would like the stats to drop a bit slower, with a more direct effect on health.
Also i am missing a bodyheat stat, i was even standing in the rain for like forever.

In a real life survival situation. Your bodyheat is the most essential thing to survival.

Also i read something about the sharks in the water. I think sharks are okay, but there are animals alot more dangerous in the ocean. Maybe ad some jelly fish, coral devil's or some other agressive fish.

If you want it more realistic play on hardcore mode that way one life and it’s game over, of course if you save the game just before fighting a Komodo or the jaguar and then die you can just reload and try over and over

that's not the issue. I stated it was only because of the komodo. I just tried normal mode to try it out. it wouldnt have made any diffrence if i tried hardcore mode. The issue is the fact that you just can continue mutiple day's without having to worry about food or water. ofcourse normaly you also don't die from not having food for a couple day's but if that's what they look for. then make the food bar drain slower. this way it makes it look like you don't need food or water. for example My water and food bar are atleast for 2 day's empty and still my health bar is not even half way down.

Real life: you can survive several weeks with no food with access to water.

Without water... General consensus is 3 days.

yes i know. i mean, if they want to keep that, then apply that to the statuses. i also understand that if your food bar is empty, you are hungry, but not necessarily dead. But if you then eat 3 steaks you are also full again, but this is not the case. your food bar is at most 2 5ths full. and is also empty again super fast. but then it also has no real consequences while it clearly says in the journal "we have to eat or we will die" The best would be a food bar divided into 3 parts. green/full is just satisfied, orange/half full is hungry (poor performance, slower movement) and red/almost empty is critical (your health goes down quickly and body temperature goes down). completely empty is dead. the same goes for water. and as I already indicated body temperature is also a thing that can really make a difference in realism. I can imagine that these are difficult systems to set up in a balanced way within a game, but it makes it so much better.
