Food Prep table in my wooden shelter teleports me into the ocean.

I have a Prep Table in my log shelter. When I go to interact with it I am teleported into the ocean surrounded by sharks. I then die. Please fix.

i was running back to my base with a couple of large sticks and i teleported to the middle of the ocean with sharks all around me and i died also

oh and this was on a brand new save for the 0.41 update, i decided to restart incase of any "issues" so i was just building up a new base hadnt even left the radio tower island yet, and yeah i got teleported to the ocean and died

So I thought it was because the prep table was in my log shelter so I destroyed it and built a new one outside. Same thing happened. First couple times table worked then boom. In the ocean. Sharks. Death. Did it every time after that.

Same. I tried a second time to be sure, but it teleports me deep into the ocean surrounded by sharks. I approached from the other side of the prep table and it works. (Well, it doesn't teleport me anywhere. I actually can't figure out how to season food still)
