Ingots?

How to make copper ingots? Or does anyone know recipe to ingots?

1. Build a forge. 2. Find a copper ore rock situated on the island ( you may have to travel to another island if yours doesnt have copper rocks on it ) and mine it with a pickaxe picking up the copper shards. 3. Add copper shards ( ONE SHARD ONLY ) to each of the three compartments in forge. 4. Ignite forge an wait.

for bronze add 1 copper and 1 tin to each compartment.

i keep gettting failed ingot cant make copper ingots

Is there a use for copper (or tin) ingots in the game at all? It looks like bronze, silver and gold are the only useful metal ingots.

The recipes that worked for me are: bronze = 1 tin + 1 copper ; silver = 1 silver + 1 copper or 1 tin ; gold = 2 gold. 2 copper or 2 tin makes a failed ingot. 2 silver also makes a fail (which seems odd).

For bronze you must put two to one compartment to make alloy. So to make three bronze bars at once you need six shards, two different ones for each compartment.
However, for silver and gold you don't have to make alloys, just put them individually into one or three compartments.

ONE shard in each box for ONE ingot the only time you put two in is when ur making bronze .. ONE shard !!

i made gold ingot with 1 tin and 1 gold. in same compartment. i made bronze with 1 copper and 1 tin in the same compartment. i havnt tried silver yet but i assume you always need 1 tin with the other metals.

copper- 1 shard , bronze - 1 copper and 1 tin in same container, silver - 1 silver shard, gold - 1 gold shard. No need to put other different shards
