Blueprints?

Is it possible to find ALL blueprints?

I'm wondering because I've been all over all islands so many times now and I am still lacking the shark repellant and, I believe, two parts for the plane: battery and fuel tank.
The only places I have not yet checked is the pirate ship underwater - from what I know though there is nothing there anymore - and the underwater temple remnant thing in the lagoon. I WAS holding out on that one until I had gotten the shark repellant, but apparently I'm not getting it.

Do they respawn? Or is it a set ammount to find, but the game actually offers more blueprints so there's always a risk you end up without the ones you need?

Yes it's possible. No they don't respawn. It's a set amount set location but it's random what you get at each spot. I can tell you both those spots are important. https://gamefeedbacks.com/tag/project-castaway/ helped me find the last 3

Thank you so much! I will have to go over everything again with the guides, but at least that is something to do. I was really starting to think it was over for me this time too, that I had by the luck of the draw just gotten all the spice pouches and meat smoker and things, and not the shark repellant and the final plane parts. Now there's hope. :)

Also something to note idk if you need both the plane and the radio tower to finish the game but currently you can finish one or the other there aren't enough parts. I'd go for plane I finished the tower now I'm stuck.

I took the time to follow the guide on each of the islands and did indeed find three blueprints I had not gotten yet. Then I read the little intro bit about it again. According to the person who made the guide there are 49 locations in which we can find blueprints, and 36 blueprints to find in one playthrough.

I have 35 now. (yes, there is apparently one I just cannot find)

However looking through my list of plane parts blueprints and the other blueprints section, well, I am still missing at least one part for the plane (the fuel tank) and two other blueprints (shark repellant and the trident) that I know of. Possibly more.
So if that is correct, that we can get only 36 blueprints in one game, while there are many more blueprints the game chooses from... well that sounds to me as if it is purely the luck of the draw if you get all the pieces you need for the plane. (regardless if we can actually build them yet)

It doesn't quite add up in my head. It would be one thing if the other blueprints were random what we could get in a playthrough (except for maybe the toolbelt and the shark repellant), but the plane part blueprints should be possible in every play if you look hard enough. Or am I just very dense?

Yeah if you notice, his numbers for each island doesn't even add up to 49.

SOS Island: 5 BP spawns
Arch Island: 4 BP spawns
Shark Lagoon: 7 BP spawns
Lighthouse Island: 12 BP spawns
Multi Island: 5 BP spawns
Big Plane Island: 9 BP spawns

Defiantly a helpful guide, but his numbers are probably off.

Yes that is something else I was thinking. The guide said there were 36 blueprints to find, but when you add up the numbers on the guide you get 42. That the locations they could be found in was a larger number I thought was down to blueprints spawning in either this location or that, not neccessarily the same one each time. But perhaps there actually are 49, if not blueprints then at least things to find, altogether? Hmm.
Well I suppose we don't actually NEED to find all of the blueprints, it is just that I keep getting all the useless ones - endless sets of spices for one thing - and so rarely the ones we do need or have use for.
I thought I'd try a third game (when I still thought the guide was accurate) and see if that fared a bit better, but straight off the bat I don't have the debris marking the sub spot in this one.

Could be worse. The stuff in the ship didn't spawn for me so I'm missing the relics.

I heard that there isn't anything actually in the pirate ship anymore. I thought that included the relics?

i've been over all islands multiple times, built almost everything, killed and fished and eatn almost every thing and finished all the quests except the plane - i'm short 2 circuitboards and 2 microprocessors - nothing on pirate ship - nothing from car under ocean tree - i've taken up random diving off my raft - soooooo frustrating - and useful stuff does not appear to just "wash up" on shore every day or so...

I started a new save and the very last blueprint I found was the belt extension. Stupid. There should be a way to increase storage through progress, not finding a random blueprint.

Sadly I don't, I've never found it. Maybe someone else does?
Current play I can't even find the cup, I keep getting chewed up by the sharks because the darn thing just isn't there.

That's funny because Belt Extension and Plane Fuel tank were the 4th and 5th blueprints I found ... and they were on the Island with the SOS on it, both were sticking out from under rocks ... one under a rock on the beach just under the tent above the SOS.
The other was also under a rock on the beach, just a little part showing (actually saw it by accident) was in the passage between the 2 tents... I was actually looking for the big cat cause I needed meat.
