This game has potential....Some Ideas
This game has a lot of potential. But I agree with other reviewers, it just throws you in and you have to figure everything out. I have a little over 10 hours of play time.

Here are some ideas:
-The choice of a small tutorial or tips/hints when the player discovers new items would be helpful. The book has some explanations but it's limited.
-A clear way to move/delete items and buildings that have been crafted.
-A way to craft a map as you explore.
-Improve the rudder mechanics to make steering the raft more fluid.
-Add the ability to carry extra items on the raft.
-Add extra slots for additional tools and items in the backpack as the player advances.
-More variation with plant life type and color (so much green). Perhaps allow the player to do more with some of the plants that are currently there for looks.
-A different way to craft rope. It would make more sense if the player didn't have access to a wheel so soon. Perhaps a way to hand-braid vines?
-A better idea for what insects are used for. I'm sure that would be clearer in the final version.
-It's not clear how to use the furnace (goes back to the suggestion for small tips/hints).
-Sometimes the outer screen blurs and it's not always clear what it signals for the player (?)
-Allow the placement of a fire to give protection from predators within a certain circumference.
-Allow logs to be broken down into large sticks and large sticks to be broken down into small sticks.
-The disassembly table seems to only allow the use of one spot on the table at a time (?)
-There isn't a clear way to craft more cloth at this point.
-All consumable items included in the backpack at the outset could have an alternative/equal that can be crafted.
-Allowing the player to keep the water bottle to refill using collected water would be helpful for having water while exploring (in case the player isn't able to cut down a palm tree for a coconut).
-A better way to harvest fruits/veggies. Shaking or picking instead of completely removing the plant.
-A way to craft a watering bucket (maybe from banana leaves, small sticks, and mud) to use for crops on non-rainy days?
-Spear fishing. This may already be a thing that I haven't gotten to but it'd be fun and make sense as a source of protein.

Additional note:
I've seen some players request character creation. For this game, I'm actually OK not having a visible character. However, I do wonder what both hands having a use would look like. The color of the water is a reminder that it's a game, but it makes the environment unique.

I'm happy to have the opportunity to try this game while it's in the development stages. I look forward to more updates.

That's so much negativity towards a stranger about a game still in development on a forum made for suggestions, help, and bug reports. No mature person expects developers to include their ideas. And no mature person feels the need to reply negatively towards IDEAS for a FICTIONAL survival GAME. I guess some people need to be angry and mean behind a keyboard to feel heard and validated. But that's internet life. Hope you have a good day.

I don't want to abuse my keyboard with tapping F like crazy.
Please remove need for tapping the F
We all know that it takes effort to light a fire, but this is game and it should be enjoyable.

In Green Hell I like to light a fire and I still know that in real life that would need effort.
I hate the tapping fast functions, since it is unnecessary abuse of keyboard and makes lighting a fire annoying. Game should not make me feel annoyed.

Also some people say that this and that feature is copied from this and that game.
I don't mind if game copies great features from other games, since all games have something great and if you want to make really good survival game, then copy good features from other games. From my point of view, it is preferrable :)

But for a such small thing as lighting the fire, it seems to be big issue for me. I hate tapping keyboard constantly. If you don't want to lose that, then make it an option that user can choose which way it works.

Other than that. I hope your game will succeed :)
