personally recommend practicing first with only Mirror mode and Hard mode enabled; that way, you get more accustomed to the difficulty changes and mirrored layout without the added challenge that comes with not being able to see
_ also if you haven't already, turn on subtitles. they're extremely helpful with locating characters, thus particularly useful for Light's Out
look out for Principal's glow in Light's Out. the detention timer increments more in Hard mode so you definitely don't want to be caught breaking rules. additionally, Principal cannot lose you once aggro'd in Hard mode, so you cannot hide from him
be aware, though, it can't actually help you since it disables achievements and secrets. if you try, Null will actively refuse to play along, as evidenced by a message in the YCTP that states "Cheating? I won't have any of that."
_ it used to be able to help you, but that was quickly changed in v1.0.1 since people discovered the code way too early and were using it to beat the game instead of doing things the intended way
