Easy way to beat Demo mode (and its secret ending)

Not sure how many people know this, but you can actually hide behind most (I think all but 2?) math machines. You are actually 100% safe from Baldi when doing this, since he will enter the room, see that you aren't in there (when you are really out of sight), and he will leave to wander to another random location. You can run room to room and just keep hiding, waiting for him to leave and gain distance before moving again. I figured this out on my own today and it seemed obvious in hindsight, but it made Demo mode incredibly easy. Hopefully this will help some people beat it themselves. :D

Edit: If you get the math machine wrong, hiding won't work as he will go straight to the math machine itself and will be close enough to discover you hiding behind it. Realized this after my initial post. However, in any other case you will be safe behind it.

This only works on v1.1 as on v1.0.2 and lower baldi charges the math machine if he enters instead

i just got the game yesterday so it should be fully updated.
although i have noticed that it did work maybe 50% of the times i have tried so im wondering if theres something else im missing.

if Baldi hears Chalkles spawn, Baldi will investigate the chalkboard- so if you can see the chalkboard from your hiding spot, Baldi can see you when he checks it

additionally, do you get the math correct? Baldi goes directly to the Math Machine if you answer incorrectly and can/will catch you if you're hiding behind it

You have to get the math correct. If you get it wrong, he will come to the machine itself and be close enough that he will discover you if hiding behind it. I just realized this after posting this. But as long as you don't get the math wrong, he's never discovered me there even with Chalkles.
