Every 30 Seconds, Cursor Disappears
I know there is a smart cursor mode. At first I thought there was a glitch with that mode so I turned it off but nope; I started clocking it and realized that every 30 seconds of the cursor being on screen or not moving, it completely disappears and becomes inaccessible until I pause the game.

For reference, I am playing the game on fullscreen but I have tried windoweed fullscreen. I am streaming the game if that helps, but it appears to be an in-game issue as this only occurs when the game is UNPAUSED. The 30 second timer appears affected only by the internal time of the game being played. However if I pause the game after this 30 second invisible timer starts, this will still count against my 30 second time, and so the cursor will appear to disappear quicker than before.

Since the game is designed to hide your cursor after some time, it is likely tied to the way inputs are passed via your streaming solution. I assume you've tried clicking the mouse? A mouse click will cause the cursor to reappear as well as hovering over an object you can interact with.

Are you streaming with Steam's remote play?

Not seen any solution for this. The cursor disappear after a while and want come back unless you "activate" it. Really annoying when you try to find a "trigger point".
And it is not a mouse problem, its the same on controller.

It could be a problem with turning smart cursor off, then? Does the cursor come back the way its supposed to with smart cursor mode enabled? I played with smart cursor on, and had no trouble clicking or pressing A on my controller to get the cursor to come back when I needed to see it for accuracy.

I'm getting the same thing playing locally (not streaming) both with smart cursor turned on, or turned off. It will randomly disappear and not come back even for interactive puzzles. Very frustrating.

I didn't encounter this issue on Windows, only on Linux (Ubuntu).

Going to the compatibility settings and forcing the use of the stable release of Proton 9.0 (the current latest version) nearly fixed it: the cursor blinks out of existence for a frame every 30 seconds before returning now.

Same problem here. I just use esc now and then or reload and it seems to "fix" it... Very annoying !

I think i solved this! I was having the same issue over and over again, the setting for smart cursor wasn't helping. So i set my FPS limit to 120 (before it was unlimited) and lowered my settings to 'favors visuals' and i haven't had the issue since :)
Appreciate it, but it is just a work-around at the cost of reduced FPS. This really needs to be fixed for better experience.

I take it back. Relaunching the game resolves the issue.
