Ghen's throne on Temple island before first Maglev station
Do we interact with this throne at all? It seems like something to do, but I can see no way, nor have I seen it mentioned in play-throughs

By throne, do you mean where he actually sits in the control room, or the projector in the temple itself? If you mean the projector in the temple, no, there isnt anything that you actually need to do in there.

Also I don't recall if this was the case in the original game, but after I came back in reverse from Jungle Island I found the temple doors closed (gasp!) only to see them open before me, and Gehn's image on the altar... ran back to the imager room and he was not there of course... a recording? ;)

The implication is that he is actually there, and you just fail to catch him before he gets away. This didnt make a whole lot of sense with where the chair room was in the original, which is one of the reasons why I think that they moved it.

In the original, it absolutely should have been possible to catch him before he got away, considering he was only a few screens away.

If you're in the room with the chair, there are switches on the arms of the chair, and little porthole screens on the walls. If you look carefully, you should be able to figure out what both switches do.

Ah! That makes total sense. I was wondering why the “camera room” was not in the hallway like in the original, and I missed his appearance in the original as well. It seems they also added a second view of the temple doors in case it was confusing which doors were opening.

Also interesting they made the right lever now lifts (uselessly) a different bridge for no reason, since original path from Boiler Island collapsed in this version… just to screw with us? Haha.

In the top one of these two viewers, which shows the temple gate from the outside, you should be able to see something in the temple's projector when you use the activation button on the projector control chair. You should also see the maglev car waiting at the maglev station. But you actually don't, even immediately after seeing Gehn using the projector when you returned from Jungle Island.

I noticed this in the demo, and it is still the same in the full game: The temple projector does not work for us?
