Thanks so much for replying. Is there a way to place a dot in the middle of the screen? Like a cross hair? I think mirrors edge did a similar thing.
Honestly I don't know why I'm having issues with this. I play heaps of FPS games but I can only handle playing the remaster for 5 minutes before feeling super dizzy.
Its such as shame because the remaster looks so good.
I'll try it and report back :)
Still no dice I'm afraid :( Any assistance the devs could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Hey. I'm not playing on VR. Just playing on my 34 inch monitor. As I said earlier, I play all kinds of FPS games. None of them give me motion sickness like this does. Its such a shame because I really like what they've done. If you have any other solutions please let me know :)
That only shows Vehicle comfort, quick travel on ladders and hide vehicle transitions. Doubt any of those would have an impact.
Typically those are going to be the sources of motion sickness, since they take control away from the player. I would suggest at least trying with them off.
Maybe check your overall graphics and performance settings? Sometimes poor performance can cause motion sickness, as the movement is out of sync with your inputs. Also turn off anything along the lines of motion smoothing / acceleration for the mouse ( I can't remember off hand what riven has ), again because that can result in movement in the game not matching what you are doing.. causing an upset.
Also, sometimes when you click on things you get moved a bit, or the camera might try to follow something ( like a character during a cutscene ), trying clicking to get control back as soon as possible.
