How to boot to VR on GOG version?

Sorry for posting it here but GOG does not have active support forums.

I've just bought the game there due to better regional pricing. Runs just fine in flat screen but when I start it while wearing my headset I get a black screen. I'm using Quest 3 over Virtual Desktop. I've already tried to launch it when SteamVR was running.

Hi there, there is a launch option you can select in the settings for launching the game.

In GOG Galaxy, press an icon next to the play button then Additional executables -> Launch in VR.

To launch the gog game in vr, make a shortcut to the executable.
open it for the properties. In the target line, add at the end
-vr Launch in VR (OpenXR) Then it shows something like this.
"C:\GOG Games\Riven_2024\Riven.exe" -vr Launch in VR (OpenXR)
now launch the game with the new shortcut.
