Original versus Remake

Hey guys, here is comparison of the original Riven with the Remake (using the latest Demo version). I really like the graphics and movement in the remake. The 3D characters aren't my thing, but the devs said it wasn't possible any other way:

Funny i was looking at his Myst comparisons yesterday.

My opinion is pretty much the same as most, it looks beautiful (except some of the distant islands) just the the characters are.. not as good.

The Riven Remake looks great. But I think the lightning in the original is more intentional used to create atmosphere.
