Poster map of riven's islands?

in the 1990s there was a guide published by "prima's secrets of the games" that came with a pretty neat 2-sided poster. one side was the iconic golden dome view rendered at a higher detail, and the other side was a detailed map of the entirety of riven's main age, as seen here: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/19/91/7c/19917cb4d68980ee96f2938cbc3605e6.jpg



now that the game has changed a bit, im curious, will a similar overhead map be made at some point? will it maybe come with the dlc guide?

i would love to print it out and hang it on my wall along with the 1990s poster. maybe even compare the 2 maps once i've completed the game.

if cyan doesnt make this, sombody should mod the game to have a free camera/orthographic camera (if possible) and take pictures of the islands in order to compose a map like this. i know i'd definitely be interested in such a project; maybe even helping with Photoshop work to make it resemble the original's colors and such.

you can already freecam in this and any other unreal engine 4-5 games with uuu (universal unreal engine unlocker)

I'm just planning on doing it the old fashion way from the 90's and just draw a map as I did for the original Riven release. Draw the map, add notes for various puzzles and so forth. They've already made the unlock of Gehn's age much easier from the original. No more having to do a 3D mapping of the island to locate where each of those energy spheres needs to be placed. It seems like you just need to open each sphere prison on each island to power up Gehn's age book.

That energy sphere puzzle always stymied me and I would need to consult guides to complete it.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is an overhead map of the islands in the digital artbook. Guess we will find out in a few hours.

This reminded me that I recently found my copy of From Myst to Riven and I have both the original Myst map and the original Riven map tucked inside. I would love if they made a new physical book like that.
