Summoned Beam Cannon is toxic
Anyone else playing a nice summoning build, or get one of the artifacts that give a free cheap tower, and suddenly you get a beam canon?
The tax of 1 mana per round is nasty, and never worth it to my current point of the playthrough. So I usually just delete them instantly.
However I just started playing around with the Air Drop deck, the one where you can't relocate towers? So when I summoned two beam towers, it basically nuked the battle.
Can we please have that tower NOT be an option to turn up? It feels really, really bad.

Just sell it

Theyre really not that bad, the penalty doesnt stack, and they actually do a decent amount of dmg and stun.

Also youre playing literally the most OP strategy in the game atm, occasionally getting a bad tower really isnt a big deal.

The funny thing is that one of the two decks in which you'll see this tower most often is a deck that doesn't let you sell things, heh. The deck is strong enough that it doesn't really matter though.

The beam cannon itself is decently strong, it just demands that you think about when you're playing it.

Have to agree with this. I always sell them but FYI summoning is ridiculously overpowered atm to the point where im not sure why anyone would deliberately ruin the game for themselves in this way.

ruined multiple runs getting it on an early boss stage.

I think it's fine. Summoning is completely overpowered anyway, and all beam canons combined only reduce mana recovery by one. Just let them stay, they do reasonably good damage.

If you've already got a summoning build going, dropping a mana point will probably still be a hefty net gain regardless. Besides, it's only a matter of time before an extractor cancels it out.

Beam cannon deck can get silly if you get a extractor out you go from having no mana to all the mana lol

Just managed to build a deck with 5 beam canon cards, and it was one of the smoothest rounds so far. Upgraded beam canons cost nothing and hit hard.
