You can suck the corporate D all you like but the reason they did this is the same as every other greedy corporation that does it, they think they have a shot at injecting themselves into a more successful developer's revenue stream because they failed at creating it themselves.
That more or less says your age in a nutshell. People aren't "White knighting." they've been trying to explain things to you since day 1, but lack of understanding about the entire situation was the fault of everyone. However, the publisher said at like day 2 of the entire fiasco "No lawsuit." and it wasn't until recently that we got the entire story about it.
I really wouldn't be, but go ahead and shoot "Son".
Nope, not this gullible, but if I am gullible, then you just think you're smarter than you actually are. This whole "I know how to read between the lines." idea is just seeing things your way because you want to be right. In the end though, it is just because you like one product over the other and if Tyler HAD been pushed, you probably would of known about it by now. Because when a developer is pushed by another, they let everyone know. Dark and darker? Myth of Empires? Those ring any bells at all?
There is not stoping now or saving what you have done you done the damage now enjoy the karma from people who are not stupid and can put 1+1 together
Only works if you own/keep the game. Review system got altered years ago due to BL3 fiasco with Epic. People review bombed and forced steam to make a new policy. Your review stays in the system, but it doesn't count to the overall scoring unless you "Own" the game. It instead works in the "Recent" reviews, which dwindle out overtime and shift back into overall eventually.
Here's what they can do, do it... don't tell us, then whine about it lol
This statement is an affront to us all. If they "need to investigate" the. Do it and let it be done. We don't need to know they are Nintendo lol it was a mistake making thos public.
However the reality is they don't cuz nothing was ripped from them directly, the best case you might have is the look of grow tents. That's the only similar thing I see in both games. They clearly aren't carbon copies either.
The publishers could have simply done the same, you know, actually play a game they publish for once and then play a competitors instead of jumping the gun because they think they have a chance at injecting themselves into another developers revenue stream because they couldn't get the same level of popularity for themselves..... and now they never will and have cast a very glaring shadow over any and all developers they're the publisher for. If Movie Games is involved with it, I'm not touching it.
