Lab technician stuck

Is it possible to fire the lab technician? Ive tried to empty all devices and remove all orders but it just keep saying: "cant remove while crafting"

Anyone got a fix?

same thing is happening to me now - hoping this can be resolved and isn't a bug which just locks me out of that employee

ok so turns out I still had some weed drying in racks outside - i cancelled and emptied those as well and then I was able to remove my technician

Empty all production and finished products, run away from area (need to be a good distance 150m approximately) then return and remove the technician.

It worked for me
