Me too but it’s not the main quest. I’m on it right now with finished capital city

Left from the church at his small room (the right room) the church is located as last building before the transit to capital city (green bus?)

he is, the talk is him trying to sell you a entry pass to the city for 400k

ive been ignopring that one 400 k when mayor charges 75, aor i an just boat around island for free. i just dont want it to cause a issue if i boat there myself.

im guessing you boated there yourself and bugged the quest so you unlocked the capital area but he still wants to sell you a pass to unlock the area?

I'm kinda past that, already have the capital areas on lvl4.
I got a voice message from the reverend to meet him. I guess once i got Dueno del Mar up to lvl 1 or 2. But all he has to say is this "do i know you?" "No, sorry" line

If it is when he offers to sell you a pass regular pass to the city (not just a day pass) then it worked for me but I went back and saved Jean after the pass because after killing him I was still bugged post patch. Hopefully they'll fix that in the future.

if you passed that thats your problem. he meets you to charge you 400 k to take you there. if its like the moonshiner bug its just a quest notification bug game still works fine its just the notice to do the quest thats bugged. ignore it and keep playing.

I strongly disagree that this is my problem/fault. If the developers give us multiple ways how to solve a problem and we choose only one of them (or none, since we can just get to that island by boat), the game needs to be able to handle that.
Same situation with that other quest where you can either kill or save the brother..

I have now 2 regions locked because of bugged quest lines. They need to fix this stuff

i didnt mean its your fault, just why it happend. i did same thing with the meth i restarted the game thinking i broke it and it happened again and i just played through and then realised it was because i was supposed to do kiras quests first. but it was just a quest notification error, the game plays through it.

all his quest is, is he wants you to pay him 400 k to take you to the island your not missing anything.

i think the problem is the dev team is small and they know the path they intended and didnt think we would go other paths. i get what they are trying to do locking vendors etc, its caused a few issues for me but after playing through most opened up anyways.

they intended for us to pick one of their 3 ways, the pastor, the mayor or the volcano guy, you thought of a 4th they didnt think of and that made the quest not clear. shouldn't cause any issues for you though just wont be able to clear it till hopefully the next patch.
