I Have Found A Method

To Getting Jean inside to talk to Benita

In order for this to work, you have to have both police/militia men chase you into Benita’s place and when both men are inside focused on you Jean should run fast thru the threshold to attack them. He has to be either in the room with his sister or the next one over for the mission trigger to activate when you start talking to her. This is why both cops have to chase you inside he'll basically lunge thru both doors and start attacking. Make sure you are quick when talking to her just in case the cops try attacking you. I got lucky and they both focused on Jean and not me.

I have tried multiple different ways and this is the only way that worked for me. I’ve even tried having the bandits chase me inside no luck there. I’ve tried with just one cop and Jean made it in the first doorway but just stood there once he was inside and that wasn’t close enough to trigger the mission.

After two days and multiple save reloads, I’m so glad to finally be done with that mission. Hopefully, I can beat the game even though they’ll probably put a patch out today lol hopefully this helps you guys as much as it helped me. Let me know below if it works for you as well

Nice in my play jean is dead I get the recipe first and the questline for the pirate king, and the alternativ route to the west side. Benita know it’s an accident in the cave and gave me three days later the „baker“ contact and the recipe (what I own at this moment lol) but no questline for the pirate king. So to kill him could bring you more

I tried killing him and letting her know and nothing could only say what’s up and never mind
