What does the lab tech employee do exactly?
Its not really clear to me what this employee does. But what I am hoping they can do is keep production going while I am out of the lab. Like assign them to equipment that is currently crafting a recipe and when it is finished they will empty the output into the hideout storage and restart crafting the same recipe on the same equipment as long as there are sufficient inputs in the lab storage to do so.

the increase the production so if u can craft 30 with no technician with one u can craft 60

Really? That seems a lot less useful than my idea. Hopefully that changes.

It's only useful when you have a boat load of production stuff going on and everything gets doubled, so if you're making meth, growing weed, making amp all at the same time in mass amounts, it doubles it for everything.

It does not double production... only how many crafting operations can be queued at once... so with weed instead of queuing 2 plants you can queue 4... not very useful in my opinion since it takes so long to grow anyway I never really miss out on having it not be queued....
So I'm just putting it out there because I couldn't find an answer anywhere online. If you put a lab tech in one of your hideouts, activate the technician and click view upgrades Then it will have a cost to unlock the recipe for automation If you hover over the drug image (or go to the crafting option on the technician if you've already purchased the recipe) it will show you what lab equipment is required in the hideout for the recipe Then go to the crafting option on the tech and for a cash cost they go and get the ingredients and craft the finished product directly into the hideout storage. So far I can make 2 kilos of each drug by just collecting money from distributors and taking it straight to the tech to craft the finished product And obviously they double any production in the hideout as well
you can also upgrade lab techs to produce substances for money. for example if you want indica you pay for the upgrade which is 500k then you can pay your tech to produce indica weed for just money I think it's 40k for 100 grams, you also have to have the right machines in the hideout the tech is working in.
