Where do I get better lab equipment for amp?

i am playing the story. I found the moonshine guy before getting lab equipment for the amp, and the moonshine guy wont even talk to me.

Hey, I bought weed equipment and improved my level on that weed shop, and then I add access to amp equipment.

I bught one dryer and one seed room

I got the botanist up to lvl 3 and have bought everything they have to offer, but they didn't offer me anything Amp lab equipment.

I expected the items would turn up closer in the story to getting the recipe for AMP.

u can just go west of jungle and find another lab equip shop without story progression

I got that quest ..BUT i cant get in to the small garage where the staff should by ( cant use crowbar or lockpicks on the door )

must be hint on you screen when you interact with door "you need wirecutter"

ok, so i'm an idiot. I didn't realise you could produce Amp with basic equipment. When I looked at the recipe I thought you needed all the lab equipment to make amp.
