the main story tells you about pawn shops and your told to deposit 300k and its marked on map in the very begining of game.

there is a wherehouse mid game, its called big phe wharehouse kinda give it away lol there is a little mini mission to ask around about whats in it, take a key card or you lose a lot of rep from an alarm in it. inside there are some supplies and an instructions sheet to get phe from chocolate bars and coco, but its still just easier to buy it it doesnt get you enough to be sole supplier from chocolate.

Go to green stores(Pawn shops/banks) and deposit cash into account and then you will be able to buy houses and things with checks instead of cash were stores offer it.
