Boy, if you are in love with Management games you are in for a large surprise when you play this.

Hint : not a good surprise.

I suppose that implies I'll get a negative experience with this game. Or not?

Ok that answered my question

I would wait until a few patches have come. Atm it has problems of every kind.

Very many logical weaknesses and poor implementations of the Formula 1 circus.Everything about planning or improvements takes place in menus. You press a button upgrade and that's it. You don't see the factory getting bigger or test grounds being built. You can not improve vehicle parts and test them in the wind tunnel or so.It is a typical game of our time visually chic but game depth equal to zero. Since there are also many bugs and the developers take a long time to bring patches or updates, which then also do not solve the biggest problems, there is a thumbs down from me.

It's less realistic than EA's F1 2002 and that's a big problem.

Well its fun for a while, but its way to easy atm. Some Bugs and balancing issues that they need to Take Care Off.

I probably Fall under the fanboy category cause i rlly needed an officially licensed F1 Manager after 700h of Motorsport Manager and even i cant sweet Talk certain Major areas of this Game. I still Like it, but Theres alot of Work that needs to be done.

At least i got total war Warhammer 3 Immortal Empires as an Option in my Steam library.

90-95% of the Game, you try to keep in DRS ... thats it

I think it draws my attention because it 'seems' nice, meaning the graphics. Especially compared to Football Manager's game 3D graphics ( a game I play a lot). But graphics aren't everything, far from it. I appreciate the comments.

same for real formula 1. you try to stay as long as possible in the drs if you got an inferior car. thats not the games fault, its just the nature of the drs.

i mean its an entertaining game, dont get me wrong. sure there are some bugs and balancing issues and some things dont rlly work as they should. but the thing with the tyres is sth you can fix with a mod, vsc is a minor issue.

probably the biggest issue for most that kills the game currently is the difficulty. there are people who are new to management games, that struggle with the difficulty, but for someone with a little experience you steamroll through. the AI just doesnt rlly research/design their cars properly until ~season 5, the strats are lackluster during rain (easy wins), at least most of the time and they dont adjust their tyre/fuel/ers modes midrace. even motorsport manager did that.

At the current price?.. Na.

The game is okay for 1 season... but it is basically a glorified mobile game - recruit new drivers whenever you want, upgrade facilities, develop and manufacture upgrades... all to fast forward through a race because the AI is currently piss poor - rinse and repeat. There's the grand total of absolutely ♥♥♥♥ all depth.

The Short answer is YES.. im one of those.. I don't follow F1 ,og like F1 IRL. BUT i love Manager games, eventhough this get's alot of bad rep, and with reason, lots of stuff missing from a Managerial standpoint, the more HardCore F1 fans, points to even more stuff, not being good.missing or even down right totally immersive gamebreaking .. so.. IF you can look past all of this, then go buy it.. otherwise STAY away until many of these things has been fixed
