Engine Power does basically nothing
in terms of engines. after finishing another season an hour ago i simply saved before choosing the engine supplier, went straight to bahrain and got some times:

Red Bull:
VER 1:32:271
NOR 1:32:273

Ferrari:
VER 1:32:292
NOR 1:32:292

Renault:
NOR 1:32:293
VER 1:32:320

Mercedes:
NOR 1:32:352
VER 1:32:361

Engine power is a joke. a 10% increase should make a huge difference, but Red Bull can barely put up a decent time difference. i would rlly like to know why engine power is so meaningless.

this is with the same amount of fuel and settings. only Mercedes was pretty far behind the others. in terms of fuel efficiency Renault and Ferrari are the best and in a race Red Bull will heavily suffer from its fuel consumption especially on tracks where you cant overfuel.

tbh if you then try to decide between Renault and Ferrari it doesnt rlly matter. i still think Renault is a bit better, cause of the higher thermal and wear resistance on top of the lower power loss threshhold, combined with a much higher fuel efficiency you can get even more power that way. gearbox and ers durability just isnt that important.

#1 Renault
#2 Ferrari
#3 Mercedes
#4 Red Bull

driving in conserve mode cause you cant make it to the end otherwise rlly destroys your pace, on top of that Mercedes manages 5 races before the engine looses power, while Red Bull manages 2-2.5 races.

i was sure Renault was the best engine before, but well after testing all 4, with the exact same drivers, cars, etc. i guess that solidifies it.
