Can a team like Williams develop their own engines if they have money?

Yup, in the second year of the game you can buy your own engine design center which can be upgraded over the years. This then features an in depth engine and powertrain design editor which not only allows you to design and build engines for your team but also to sell these to customer teams.

Okay, so I made all that up. Admit it though, that would be cool for future releases :)

You would think it should be in, that's exactly the process Red Bull started when Honda pulled out.

Let's face it, this is year 1 for this franchise so it's going to be lacking in numerous features we would all love (and maybe expect) that will be planned for next year and beyond. I only hope they don't hold back to the point where it flops and gets dropped.
