F1® Manager 2022

The best Formula 1 Manager game you know?
Unfortunately, since the beginning of the computer games industry, there have only been a small number of manager games for Formula 1, or for racing in general.

The best Formula 1 Manager we know was released in 1990 by the great German company Software 2000 [en.wikipedia.org].

That was the F1 Manager Professional [www.old-games.com] back then.

And guess what, this is still by far the best F1 Manager [!] we know.
Frontier could have learned so much from there...

Motorsport manager, be it the PC/Mobile version its great; the biggest problem is that they dont have licensing but for the PC version that game is open for modding hence its really good
For me it was Pole Position from Ascaron or Grand Prix Manager from Microprose
The only other management game I've played with an open wheel category is MM and that was, and still is an amazing game, it doesn't have the glitz and glamour of F1M22 but what it does have, is a great level of depth and longevity !

I agree.
F1 Manager 2022 is more a show then an act of defiance.
It has flashy eye candy but it is too simple and not comprehensive enough!
grand prix world was fantastic when i was a kid, i still find it funny that some games from the 90's have more depth than some that come out in the 2020's

we are moving further and further away from real games into apps.

it is a grim future.
That game looks hideous, go play it and leave us that enjoy this be.

Agree, F1 Manager pro is a great game and it looks also very good. GPW and GPM 2 are also still good and fun to play.

F1 Manager 2022 isn´t that bad and one of the better from the modern era.

The pessimist fears that he is right.
In the old world, F1 manager Pro back in the 90s was fantastic. Unfortunately so dated, I'd struggle to get back into it. Grand Prix manager had a lot of nostalgia, but I probably prefer Grand Prix world with some mods, but again, all dated.

In the modern world, motor sport manager with the fire fantasy mod is the best modern grand Prix game I've played so far. If you haven't tried the mod, I highly recommend you try it. I'm really enjoying f1 manager at the moment, it plays allot differently, still got more hours I want to put into it

Motorsport Manager from Sega is ok, but would be forgotten without the great modding community.

There were new Pole Positions, but really bad. Then this RTL Racing Team Manager, it was fun. EA had also a Manager from year 2000 and I haven´t liked it that much.

I might have missed real gems, but i think ive played them all....so its more a realist than a pessimist.
