Even now there is no word that we could make our own team and compete against the other top teams and eventually build our own team to dominate from the being back markers to winning everything. So to work around this problem most people will just pick the weakest or smallest team and try and win with them.
Like honestly how fun will it be with an overpowered Ferrari or RB team where you win from the start with no real challenge.
I'll wait till they release this and then decide after a few reviews until then I'll stick with my modded Motorsport Manager game as after the mods I've used it will still be a better game than this one will ever be.
I see feeble excuses like 'its their first f1 game', 'the next one will probably have it' etc etc. which is an utter joke considering you had Microprose F1 Manager in the mid 1990s with you able to create your own team and edit teams/drivers etc. It seems with modern games, some people are happy paying more and getting less.
I'll state this, if you could create your own team in the game I would buy this day one, but as it is now. I'll not even buy it in a sale.
Lazy devs/publishers.
you need to go understand how licensing works first.
If they have approval to add a create a team function in the game and are NOT doing it, then yes, i agree.
but i really dont see them skipping this sort of game mechanic if they had the proper licensing and approval to do so.
it took codemasters 10 games/years from F1 2009 to F1 2019 to be able to add such a create a team feature due to licensing and the FIA to approve the car that was used ingame.
Ferrari.
If only to make sure that the sodding power unit is worthy of its contracts!
