Driver transfers

I'm sure many of us have spent many days fantasizing about our plans for the game.
Which team to play with? What drivers to sign? Do I go bold, fire my drivers and blow my cash on the top guys?

My question is:
What are your plans?

I'll start.
Save 1 - Alpine
Keep Alonso, get that 3rd title; "Release" Ocon, and bring in Gasly.

Save 2 - Aston Martin
Get Geb his 5th; Fire stroll for Hulk
After 2nd season, Whatever happens re Seb, Sign Pourchaire and Hauger.

So I’m a RB fan but don’t want to go with them for my first team as I don’t want to screw them up while I learn game mechanics etc. Plus the board will be expecting championships so may be a little difficult for first playthrough.

So for me:
Save 1 - AlphaTauri
Get rid of Yuki and sign Mick. Stay with them for a few seasons and train Mick up. Then move to Red Bull and bring Mick to pair with Max.

Save 2 - McLaren(as they’re my 2nd team)
Keep Lando and possibly replace Danny Ric with Vettel or Alonso.

No, it comes from the official Q&A

If I get fired, what happens next?

If you fail to meet the board’s expectations you can be fired! If this happens, you can start a new game but you can also reload your last save point, rewind five races or restart the season entirely

If you could change teams, there should be an opportunity to join another team that's struggling that might fire the staff. So, you should be able to carry the game on. But, according the answer, you can't do that.

why would you think youd be able to swap and change teams as you please though

Guessing they mean more like switching when another team is struggling. Kind of like in MM, if a team is under performing the principal is at risk and you can apply for the job. Would hope you'd be able to do something like that at the very least.

3. In second season I'll try to bring Mick into title picture or at least to Top 5
4. Swap K-Mag for Drugovich in third season and fight for the double crown

Save 2: Ferrari
Keep my drivers, fix all mistakes they made IRL and bring the titles back to Maranello

Save 1: Haas
1. Keep Mick and bring in Dennis Hauger from F2 when i have a chance
2. In first season work on developing the drivers and most of all lay a good foundation for the next seasons car.
3. In second season i will aim for atleast top 12, do corrections on the driver training/development, mabye looking into replacing some pit crew, technical staff and further improvements to the car and mabye upgrade som of the R&D. Factory etc.
