F1® Manager 2022

F1® Manager 2022

Statistiche:
Wet or Inters
Unless I am being really dumb, there is no obvious way of knowing what tyres to put on when it starts to rain the scale is inconclusive as sometimes the huge peaks is just over 4mm and other times its 7mm.

Or am I being really dumb?

When it starts to rain you can usually gauge it on how fast the mm shoots up, if its slow start on Inters if its fast and shoots past 2-3mm might be best to go on wets

You can usually stay out an extra lap as the AI will pit on 0.70mm and above
i just do one more lap and then have a look and see what tires the A1 puts on
Try to look at the intensity of the rain in the next coming minutes (prediction screen during the race). Also the image of the rain clouds can tell you a bit about the intensity/duration that is to come. If there is a high percentage in 4, 8, 12, 16 etc. minutes it is more likely that you will need wets in a few laps/minutes.

Also, some tracks have bad draining, a certain type of asphalt or dry up slowly. These tracks are more likely to hit 7mm I guess. I guess this has also something to do with it. You can find this information in the pre-race (track) information before Q / R.

But yeah.. Its not always clear, just like in real life. 'Luckily' the AI is not that smart and almost always pits for inters, just to come in for wets a lap later.
