Basically it tunes DRS effect down, and adjusts tire wear degradation and performance between types.

Just put it in your pack folder, it doesnt override any file

Your path my vary mine is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\F1Manager2022\F1Manager22\Content\Paks

the real question is does the wear make a difference, right now 100% to 30% laptimes are the same pretty much for each tire type, I know loss of fuel weight makes some difference however as the tire wears there should be a slowdown in lap times. this is the problem most of us have with degredation, it just doesn't affect laptimes until the tire is below 30%

example 100% fuel load and 40% tire wear i can run the same lap time pretty much as 100% tire wear

Play as much as you want with pak's files, but made a BACKUP before !!!

I've been exploring the original paks...

found funny things, for exemples, only 29 pilots have faces in the game and two of them are 4K pictures samples... or maybe the coders became lazzy :)
"Name": "4K_FF_HD_TK_George_Russell", and "Name": "4K_FF_HD_TK_Antonio_Giovinazzi",
"Name": "A_Albon_TN",
"Name": "C_Leclerc_TK",

outstanding names are:
all of the 20 pilotes from IRL 2022 GP
+
"Name": "J_Aitken_TN",
"Name": "N_De_Vries_TN",
"Name": "N_Hulkenberg_TK",
"Name": "O_Piastri_TK",
"Name": "P_Fittipaldi_TK",
kubica, buemi, vandoorme....

If you use any other pilots, no cinematics if you win...

not only that, tyres are on temp way to fast. i can start on hards against softrunners and just drive away. i mean sure when using softs myself i got a bit more accel, but the difference is just way to low.

since starting on mediums/hards makes no real difference in terms of being able to overtake others better i either start on softs, when i have a grid penalty and have to go through alot of cars quick or when im in the top10 i just use hards first and im still able to gain around 5 positions till drs is activated. they rlly need to adjust that. hards shouldnt be able to do that against softs, when im driving an aston martin in my first season against the likes of red bull, ferrari and mercedes.

I can say that the DRS is working much better now and this alone makes the game much more playable, the tires do seem to show some small difference in laptimes with degradation, altough it should definitely be more pronounced... anyway this is a good stop gap before the patch
