Is there any way to see a weather forecast for the full race or future?

Cant seem to find anything and currently just waiting until the weather changes rather than being able to judge how light or heavy its going to rain

So upgrade weather station gets better readings but don't think it chances the length. If you click the tyre strategy you can change it to track I believe it's called. And you can see how tyres at expected to do during the race so if there is rain common you see the inters or wets on there also

Top right of the racescreen, you have three buttons. Click on the one to the right to open a sub-menu, where you can see the forecast and the wetness expected.
The better weather station you have, the more correct that will be :)
