"Unlike in EA and Codemasters’ F1 2021, there’s no limit to the number of seasons in a career. So after a while you will only have current F2 and F3 drivers racing in F1, with the roster bolstered by fictional drivers who replace those who retire. That system of having regens make up the numbers is a system that’s long been employed in the Football Manager series along with other sports games."
and what's going to determine a driver, mechanic, engineer or team leader's retirement?
Hey! Yes, as you progress in your save and drivers/staff retire, fictional drivers and staff (regens) will be added to the scouting pools. Like the real people they're replacing, they'll have unique attributes and differing levels of potential, so you'll still have the challenge of scouting for talent and figuring out the best people to hire.
We don't have an exact number of seasons right now that we can confirm a save will go on for, but it will be significantly more than the 5/10/20 seasons that some people have suggested :) We expect very few players to end up hitting any potential ceiling of how many seasons you can play through in a single save. If and when we have an exact number to share, we'll let you know!
so there would be more than 40 seasons i'd imagine.
