Combat is more fun in Tribes (as it requires more skill in movement and shooting), also skiing is fun.
Vehicle combat and defending indoors is much more fun in Planetside 2.
Both are good games, PS2 is more strategic and Tribes is more "oldskool".
chicken, egg.
beagle is right though totally different.
gregerson and the dynamix crew knew what they were doing when they made tribes 2 and then gregerson with planetside. begining to think we'll never see the likes of dynamix again sadly.
Even though, Tribes:Ascend is obviously the better game if you want something that actually takes skill.
Gotta say though, at least its not another BO2 but battlefield mass zergs is just not my kind of game.
