unable to connect to hi-rez authentication services

Whenever I try to start the game, I get the error message, that it can't connect to hi-rez authentication services.
The diagnostic tool brought up:
Hi-Rez Studios Authenticate and Update Service will not start on this machine.
Recommendation:
You can try to reboot this computer or run this program as an administrator. If the problem still persists, you may need to uninstall Hi-Rez Studios Authenticate and Update Service from the windows control panel and reinstall from http://www.hirezstudios.com

I reinstalled this game already, but it's still not working.
What is really strange is, that this game already worked on my PC. In fact I already played today. I didn't change anything on my machine, but suddenly I keep getting these errors.
Anybody know a solution?

Did you try to reboot this computer or run this program as an administrator.

Go to the Control Panel, then to Programs and Functions or whatever, and then deinstall the "HiRez Authentificate and Update Service", that should do it, it always worked for me. Also, you can do this whenever your Launcher says it needs repairs, just deinstall the Service. Then that is fixed as well.

apparently this is a problem for lots of ppl. Installing the game through Hi-rez own installer doesnt give this problem.

The solution for me was to do nothing. It didn't work for two days (tried starting every day). And since today it works again. I have no idea, why.

Try pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc and going to the Services tab. Then on the bottom right press the Services... button and scroll down to Hi-Rez Studios Authenticate and Update Service then right click on it and click properties. Press Start Up type and go to Automatic (Delayed Start) then press start and it should be working now.

If you try to remove the new authentication ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ HiRez forces uninstall of all content on it's way out. Tried the automatic start up for the services but it was that by default. I'm reinstalling and then going to try again. maybe with a reboot

I had this trouble with the Steam version and eventually just gave up with it , uninstalled the prog with Wise Program Uninstaller , removing all the hidden reg files.
Then downloaded Hi-Rez installer installed back to desktop and set to run as Administrator
Now it works ...even get your levels & perks still set up... the only thing is even if you tell it to remember you at Log-In ....it wont.
So far working pretty smooth in Win 10 Pro 64 bit...
Catcha on those servers..... bring some points ...I mean some friends

so the steam install works alright. Don't allow updating in the background and prevent the launcher from updating at any cost. As long as you do that, it seems to work alright. If you let the launcher update, then it just kills itself.

Hey boys , i dnt know if anyone got the solution yet but i found it!
-after installing your game and all the stuff that you need,
-uninstall the Hirez launcher (dnt touch the game just the launcher) uninstall it from the control panel,
-then go to the hirez website and download the launcher from there.
-for the next step YOU NEED TO INSTALL the launcher in SAME drive as your operating system (if u fail to do that make sure ur drive is not FAT32 )
-install the new launcher and start it ( it will tell you that the launcher is dowloading the game ) so just close it.
-then go back to steam open the game and enjoy :)
(i hope that hirez appreciate my help and send me some skins)

Just solved !!! When you run mscofig - and see services - there is Hi-rez Authenticate. I´m always turning of theese things. After turning it on - it was solved !!!
