Hacking/Cheating

I keep seeing guys level 22, 34, and even 50 in rooms locked from rank 1-10... I have also seen guys making shots that are just incredible.... Killing people from across the map with a pistol or smg when they are clearly well beyond visible range..... How often do they work on catching these guys?

l have been reported over 350 times, some people has been reported me twice and over 10 times (one even told me tribes banned his fb account cuz spam the olol). l have been banned only once for 3 days because l was trolling trash.

Hirez only ban actual cheaters which is rare nowadays from companies. Blizzard for instance, ban with or without any reason.

As for the exploit, ive seen it a couple time and l can say that its only rng from l guess taking a random match and they always get kicked after the first game. l never seen someone stay twice.

Yeah, not a hack. I've randomed into novice matches a couple of times too, stick around to enjoy but get kicked once the round ends.

I said this in another topic and I'll say it here too. I have over 700 hours of game time and I've never seen a single cheater. This is heavily skill based game. You can cross map with the hitscan weapons if you are good. You can hit fairly consistently with the projectile weapons mid-air, if you are good. You can avoid getting hit by them, if you are good. There is a colossal skill gap between new players and the more experienced ones. I'm level 45 and I'm still getting pounded by quite a few competitive or simply more experienced players whenever I match up against them and I consider myself to be fairly good, even among people with similar rank. There is an enormous skill ceiling in this game and by playing with the right mindset and with the right people, you will get better and better and better.

The fact that you've seen over 10 lvl players on a server which is supposed to be lvl 1-10 only is Hi-Rez's fault. You can join on any level restricted server via friends list. You can preview a low level server, add someone of the people playying to your friends list and then join via them. Not a cheat but an exploit which is up to Hi-Rez to fix.

I get reported about twice a gaming session everytime, mostly for trolling and nothing happens.
Actually, I have never seen anyone get kicked, banned or any action taken from the votes.

I'm from russia. I thought only RUS player cheating, but there is SO MANY noobs here. Thats very sad. Now I see new young players and they cheating too. No sense reporting, no one care about this.

Some high levels that are in 1 - 10 ranked matches were invited by their noob friends or something.

If you're higher than level 10, you can follow a friend into a novice match. As for the shots across the map, I've gotten a few by complete luck. If it happens a few times in a match though, it's probably a hacker.

I agree with you, but alot of what he's referring to is lvl 6 or 9 cheaters. who pull out chain guns and never miss or have 20+ blue plate specials at the end of a match..there's A LOT of low level cheaters, but not high level because hirez does a good job banning. and for anyone out there that doesn't believe hax exist. just google it and stare in amazement.

This is making me think: Is this going to be like Planetside 2 where you startoff with weaker than paper weapons that can't even aim, or will you be able to DO SOMTHING WITH A GUN THAT CAN KILL SOMEONE IN LESS THAN A HOUR. In fact, I just hope that the game will work in the first place, no one like it when all enemies are invisible,and until the person is right in your face(I know it was my cpu: EVERY SINGLE PERSON IS INVISIBLE). As long as stuff works in game, I am fine(Waiting for it to download, I have not played it but I just deleted Planetside2 just too see if this works, and if the weapons aren't broken)

Well i dont know but teleport enemies inside the map is hacking right? because a user (?????Blood) do this everytime, he's not banned, not kicked, anything. Just annoying.

ok, the players over lvl10 in a lvl1-10 match is just a bug, if u have a friend who is in that match, you can sometimes join off them. Cheaters in tribes just make no sense, I have only ever seen one hacker, and he only uses his 'hacks' when he is stuffing around. Generally, people can just be bloody awesome players with autos and other weapons.
