Your fix also didn't fix anything.
1.) Goto view local services
2.) find "Hi-Rez Studios Authenticate and Update Service" or as mine says "Hi-Rez Studios Authenticay..."
3.) double click it and select manual if it is disabled or set it to auto
4.) start the game
I fixed this ages ago, it has something to do with a security program. I remember booting up Reign of Kings and a pop up coming up which actually told me what was wrong. I think you have to either download something or uninstall something
So what we need to do? Ty
When I run the installhirezservice.exe all it says is Failed to Install Hi-Rez Authenticate and Update Service... Please help
Steam->Library->Right click Paladins->Properties->Verify Integrity of Game Files->Wait about 5 minutes then reload the game
If you are not using steam Right click Paladins->Open file Location->Find Binaries (its somewhere around there)->Redist->Install all of the files in that folder
