"By the way, bruh" - Charlie "MoistCritikal" White has been a massive supporter of the series and I was honoured to have him and his vocal talents in the game. Wouldn't be where I am without his help.
Bows are pretty powerful now with the new bow talents, at the cost of some defence - but like Mihan said, they're a bit like wizards, early on you may have a tough time. Warriors start off easy and get more difficult. So there's a lot to think on!
Good luck!
I will admit I was kinda tilted when I made the post after failing a second attempt at making a rogue character, I will hold faith that the difficulty will even out as I pick up enchanted gear (currently being raw dogged by wolfgang's chad son)
Critikal is a great guy and I watch his content, I just don't feel like the very first boss of the game was an appropriate placement for him, maybe leave him in there as an easter egg champion somewhere for people to find rather than essentially a tutorial boss, just a random gamers opinion (also u gotta understand what its like to lose to a boss who shouts thou art stinky at you as a killing blow, the mental damage, the toll that takes on a man, I was tilted when I bruhed his appearance)
Apologies if I came off as negative, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loved swords and sandals 2+3 as a kid and love the skills/traits system in this one, I'm looking forward to future updates :)
To be honest, I totally get where you're coming from - it is a bit 'cringe' to have a YouTuber as the first boss and I sort of debated whether to do it, but since the character design was kind of memorable and 'silly' it sort of fit well, same as the old Fearful Prisoner nonsense from the early games. I kind of loved the idea of him being called Huge Charles and being kind of diminutive too, so I thought yeah lets go with that.
Thanks so much for the kind words and for being a fan of the series too mate - great to have you aboard!
To be fair, Yo, you play the game on ridiculous difficulty levels so your comments should always be taken with a grain of salt for regular gladiators on regular difficulties.
