Game Wont Start

I played for 2 hrs yesterday, and today it won't start. It loads up the initial window, then closes.

I updated my graphics drivers, and reinstalled it.

Hey Skynet - I've just uploaded a hotfix V0.6.0.A.2 , give that one a try and let me know if it works for you? If it still crashes, I may get you to send me your save game folder so I can take a more detailed look.

I just updated the game and it seems to still be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the bed. I would love to send you my save game folder. Two questions.

1. Where is my save game folder? It's currently saved at: D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Swords and Sandals Immortals and there are 3 files: steam_appid.txt, swords_and_sandals_immortals.exe, swords_and_sandals_immortals.pck

2. How will I send it to you?

Hey, whenever I try to load my one of the saves game instantly crashes, tried reinstalling it didn't help.

Hey Krufo - I just sent you a DM about sending me your save game file so I can fix this loading crash error, I should be able to have it sorted today if I can get the file! Let me know if you got the message.

Anyone else who is experiencing this crash, just DM me and I'll see what I can do - will make this a priority today once I have an example save game I can test with.

Hey guys, anyone who was experiencing this loading savegames bug over the weekend, your gladiators should be loading again now - just update the game on Steam and it'll be all good to go. Huge apologies for the inconvenience !!!

This week I'll be adding two new arenas and champions into the game and most likely by the end of the month we'll have the full Starbound Gladiator battle too.

After launching the application, it opens for literally 4 seconds and then crashes without errors, I updated all drivers, all libraries, disabled all antiviruses, but the game still does not start, I even tried to run it as an administrator, I have OpenGL version 4.8 but the game it stupidly won’t start, help me solve the problem, I’ve been playing on my smartphone for almost 2 years now and I really like your game, it’s the latest official version

Hey, sorry to hear this - that sucks! What version of Windows are you playing the game on?

Also maybe try deleting the settings file in this folder:
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\src

And if that fails, delete that whole src folder. Let me know how it goes for you, it may be that I need to update the build of the game if there have been some recent changes to Windows etc. Windows 10 is officially supported , but untested by me on Win 11 as I don't have it.
