When you enter the weapon smith you have an option to input a code. I assume there are some special weapons to acquire this way? Are the codes given away on streams or somewhere by the dev?

You can find them on the Dev's most recent Video, as well as the one in the News. Most recent one. Thus are the only ones revealed to us of yet.

these 4 codes are the only ones that give stuff currently.

hatofham
raargh

there is also one additional code that does not give any items, but just a bit of text for expanding the lore
