Preset 2 is terrible

Needing to wait for Grandpa to sleep, or throw an item at the wood in the bell store room, and risk losing a day just to get the weapon key to progress further

I've had the same experience, unless I missed another item that could have let me progress, but it takes ages for Grandpa to sleep sometimes.

about dropping an item at the wood you can unlock doors in train and run in control room(forgot how it calls), or you can run in lockers near enter to metro

Preset 2 is an amazing preset for Train ending on normal and easy.
