Well, the West was fully Nato integrated in Command Structure etc, so the East was in the Warsaw Pact.
I dont know it from myself of course, but i studied their Training Manuals and Battlefield Doctrines so i can tell you what would be different on the Paper.
One thing very Important here is the Anti Tank Defense of the East, even they had the mayority of Tanks they had thought trough Systems of deep Defense against attacking Tanks where ATGM Tank Hunters, towed anti Tank Guns and RPG 7 Squads work together to wear down enemy Tanks the further they break trough the Main Battleline.
In the Bundeswehr it was different, every Man was trained with short Range Panzerfausts, and when there was Alarm, the Unit would make a Tank Hunter Squad from Volunteers, and it doesnt matter if its a Bakery or Washery unit, every Men is trained in Tank Defense in case Russian Tanks brake trough the main line of Resistance.
So broken trough Soviet Tanks would never be safe and could just roll over the Supply units, cause like i said every Unit has Panzerfaust and ever man is trained against "Panzer-Terror" so he doesnt get panick and just runs away.
The East had layered Defense for this and specialised RPG Teams ...they also preserved high grade dedicated Anti Tank Guns long after they had been abandoned in the West.
The Soviet and East German Tank Defense consinsted of a front line of Mechanized Units and their ATGM and SPG9 as well as RPG7 Squads, but it was not expected that this Line could hold a serious tank attack, so they had the anti tank reserve consisting of vehicles carrying several atgm launchers like BRDM2 attacking any broke trough Tanks, and if any Nato Tanks would survive this, they would drive on the 3. Line of Defense which consisted of towed Anti Tank Guns with very low Profile and high velocity 100mm Guns.
I made a glorious MS Paint Illustration ;) .. the Green Blobs represent Forest too thick for Tanks, and the Arrows are the "Tank Endangered Area" where the Tanks are expected to attack from

Missions which require offensives into Pact held Territory should reflect this layered Defense of different Weapons. Until now i only saw single ATGM launchers
Tanks would fight together with Mechanised Infantery and shoulder useable ATGM in the first line of defense,
Will do thx ;)
I was in the Bundeswehr as well, no one said " Stopfen " instead of " Feuer einstellen ".
I am not sure if bringing unique and local slang in to this, is going to be a good thing for a translation.
I rather have official terms in-game.
