British army of the rhine?

is there the possibility of the British army being added to the game, I feel like it would fit well, I know west Germany is in the works but it would be a nice follow up.

Here, here! I'd love to see chieftain, challenger, scorpion (just to name a few) as future DLC. There's been talk of other theatres and times once the base game is finished, I'm hopeful that the Brits get their own.

Not in this iteration of the game. Devs have said that what this game will have in terms of features and units is outlined in the roadmap. Anything else will be its own seperate project, preferably as a traditional expansion pack. So no you will not see BAOR in this game.

Agree, BAOR would be a very nice addition, but that would also require more maps. It would also introduce Czech and Russia to the fray. Czech could also have a twist as to whether they are Pro-NATO or Pro-WP, as many speculated during that period.

Just take my money devs at all the possibilities of this era and theater of operations.

It's a long way ahead but once the roadmap is complete I'd be perfectly fine paying extra for army and campaign packs.

They've explained that for now, while the game is in EA, they will focus on Fulda, with the US, Soviet and both German Armies, but that they intend to release other scenarios as expansions after completing the base game. And I think they had done some research and scans for British vehicles, so I guess it will eventually happen

Do you mean the Polish? BAOR were stationed between Bremen and Dortmund under NORTHAG, and wouldn't immediately oppose Czechoslovak forces in the south.

Yes, you're correct. I was thinking more south. North would have also had the potential question mark about the Polish army of that era too.

I hope so, but i'd rather see them finish the roadmap first. infantry and multiplayer would be immensely more valuable than a vehicle pack tbh. I'd make it rain dollars on them like it was a strip club if they would add multiplayer so i can get friends on this.

I can understand people wanting such an addition. But I can also understand just how complex it would be Britain had three MTB's during the Cold war period the Centurion, the Chieftain and Challenger along with various Scouting vehicles and light tracked vehicles, then different infantry weapons at AT systems modeling all that plus replicating fire control for those units. I think they should be added in the future as should French assets too. I would love to see both the Centurion and Chieftain in the game , I had both as toys be it the plastic Airfix toys or the Dinky Diecast or was it Corgi I for get. But I think the Devs have their hands fully working within the current forces in game I guess they will be adding AA defence mobile defences systems that both the Warsaw Packt and West Germans had with their respective AA tanks. Never mind ground to air missiles. I am a bit rusty with my memories of both western and soviet equipment from the Cold war period but just with their current forces Soviet Union and GDR/DDR East Germany , and West Germany and the U.S forces they have a lot to go at.
Depending on how wider timeline they want to cover. There is a lot of scope for future products.

I'm happy to wait out the completion of the road map. Of course I'd pay money for expansions into other possible theaters of the same period or even in different periods, but I think it's great that the dev team wants to deliver a polished first iteration within the scope that they set out before branching out into other projects. They have limited ressources and it makes sense to focus instead of branching out too far and not getting anything done to satisfaction.
