T-34-85
I remember a few months ago the devs released an update mentioning the T-34-85, and some people were wondering how to play it.
Someone said in a discussion post that they think it's only available in campaign mode when pact forces are severely depleted. They said "I think," and I'm too lazy to test it out myself, so has anyone actually verified that the T-34-85 is in-game? And if so, is there a way to play it without going through the hassle of purposely losing campaign?

And I've also verified it. So yes, definitely in the game, just a bit tough to get (still better than near impossible when it was first added)

Proof that I'm not bsing you number two:

Its there as an easter egg, it does not meet the standards of the rest of the GHPC models so it will never be anything but an easter egg.

And simply making NVA lose in the campaign is not enough. You have to make them lose and drag it out at the same time to deplete faction resources which is seperate to how close you are to losing.

Hold on a minute... that's not a D-5T

I've only encountered T-34's once in the campaign as a NATO player, however my M60 tanks gunned them down with ease.

I tried this but if I lose a few rounds on purpose their readiness goes back to "intact" status despite their morale hovering around 5% and growing back very slowly. I have to lose two or three missions to compensate for one win when it comes to morale. Any tips you could give me? I'd really like to see the T-34s in the game. It's like hunting Nessie.

You need to lose vehicles, not missions. Company Attack missions are a good way to rack up vehicle losses, since you start with so many. If you shoot all your teammates in the back and then beat a mission solo, you can stay in the campaign while still accruing losses, which is what you'll need to maintain for a little while to get the fabled T-34 to appear. It's much more time consuming and skill-intensive than actually winning the campaign lol

We talking about playing as NATO, right? What I did was at the start of the mission I just told every vehicle to bail out. So what I should do instead is finish the mission but have the largest losses possible?

No he means the east germans need to lose a bunch of vehicles but still win missions.

Vehicle losses impact a logistics stat seperate from the stat determining if you are winning the campaign and youi need to drive this into the ground without losing the campaign.

If you just surrender as the US without destroyingany vics the East german logistics stat will improve and thus you will not get the T-34 to appear.
