Roadmap and coop

The roadmap available in the official Website [gunnerheatpc.com] details Multiplayer as being the last item in the development roadmap.

Is there any chance that coop may come sooner?

If I may be allowed to share my opinion, I believe allowing basic coop functionality (such as allowing another player to take over what currently is an AI asset) would greatly improve replayability and the fun-factor of the game, as not only you'd introduce a social element (of being able to play with friends), but you'd also be adding an element to circumvent eventual limitations of AI (due to your friend, a human, being better to play with than AI).
That being said, taking from the experience of those around me, I believe the lack of such an element may be holding back potential buyers of the game.

I, however, do not know how hard it would be to implement such functionality, so I just wish to expose my point of view regarding how the game can benefit from the addition of a coop multiplayer element sooner than planned.

Finally, I just want to say the game is awesome and it's great to see how it has been developing since its free demo and I gladly recommend it to anyone who has interest in armoured warfare :)

The devs have said its put last in the road map so people don't expect it sooner, but it may well come sooner if they feel its in a good enough state to release to us. They have been working on it along side the other things they are working on and will appear at some point.

co op is the plan but careful, theres no way we can "allow" co op, we have to actually engineer it. It's a pretty big job and we only have the basics working so far.

It's always good to see the devs active in the forums :)

In the meantime, I will keep following and playing this amazing game, looking forward to the day I may finally be able to play it with my friends.
