It's not used in a ton of games. It's used in very specific simulator games, and is a great tool. But let's not pretend it's used that often. Flight sims, Truck sims, and some driving sims are about all it's used in. (I used it in DCS until I swapped to VR).
I'll pass on using it with GHPC, though. It's not going to give me any advantage over keyboard and mouse - I can already look and use the gun at the same time without head-tracking. I consider GHPC a middle-ground sim and that's it's niche...I'm not gonna try to treat it as Steel Beasts (which I already own).
Edit- I retract my statement. Having played the game for a few hours I can't see the point of track ir. You'd only use it when turned out.
Space? Star Citizen? Squadrons?
Nevermind. TrackIR is STANDARD in basically ANY FlightSim, RacingSim and MilSim...
Tried both, Tobii is really nice, but eye tracking is a bit "nervous" and the head tracking a little sluggish compared to TrackIR. They are both great, but i DEFINITELY prefer TrackIR.
For GHPC? Would be beneficial, but not a must. I would use it though.
You left the door open to adding Tobii support.. LOL *joking* It's too bad though you are not considering adding head and eye tracking support though. It is game changing in a way that's hard to describe.
