Has anyone been able to set up a joystick to use whilst aimed down the day/thermal sight?

Check "Invert Palm Control" on your input in settings. From the commander's view you'll have to hit the palm control to slew the turret over, but from the gunner's station you can just use the joystick to aim.

I'm having a similar issue. Joystick works fine for commander view, but as soon as I get into the sight, nothing. Even when i tried toggling palm control, bind a button to palm control. nothing.. But when I bind my rudder pedals as Aim, up down, ... to test; gun sight moves. maybe it hates the thrustmaster T16000?

more testing. xbox controller: no issues. with joystick, if turret turn left/right are bound to joystick twist, it works there in gun sight. But no X and Y work in the gunner sight. Commanders view works fine. Calibration shows X and Y working fine.

NM. Found the issue. The sensitivity was too low on the T16000 calibrate menu.

Hi, impossible to use an X52 joystick with or without the Invert Palm Control checked. The throttle's axis is recognized and works to move the tank, buttons can be reprogrammed but can't use the joystick to move the turret in either views...

You configured the joystick axis in the "Settings/Input/Adjust controls" menu and configured a palm switch button, (or enable "inverted palm switch"?)

All joystick's axis are recognized and calibrated in the input tab and in game if I have or not the "Invert Aim Control" Palm Switch option checked I cant use the joystick to control the day/thermal sight. I have a palm switch button assigned.
When I use the throttle to set up a cruise speed the aiming - using the mouse - becomes very sensitive and the turret moves excessively fast, very unpleasant...
