Nintendo Switch Pro Controller support?

Hey all! After hearing about this game off and on for years finally decided to purchase it, sat down on my couch to enjoy on a rainy evening, and immediately had issues with my switch pro controller.

The issue:
I am unable to play the game as some of the buttons on my controller are not mapped correctly in game.

- The right joystick inputs are rotated 90 degrees. (up/down rotates view, left/right crouch)
- The right bumper seems to work normally but the left bumper opens/closes the settings menu.

I am playing on linux. I did try on macos as well but my controller wasn't detected by the game at all.

What I've tried:
I've tried quite a few things to get my controller to work but no luck.
- Tried two different pro controllers which both had the same issue.
- Tried disabling / enabling steam input.
- Tried using steam input to rotate the right stick input, which had no effect.
- Tried playing on macos, but my controller wasn't detected at all in game (but I was able to play hades and navigate big picture mode using the controller)
- Tried other games, which all seem to work normally.
- Tried using proton and switched to a few different versions.

Looking for any other suggestions or work arounds. Otherwise I'll probably refund until I decide to pick up an xbox controller. I don't have any other controllers at the moment.
