and for what? it gives you nothing anyways and its not as rewarding as actually doing it legal way

If anyone is trying to cheat to get the achievement, you may as well just get SAM. Same end result, and alot easier to deal with. Personally I will just wait the 10 years. And ironically we are at 10 years!!!

Regardless of the type of achievement, why go through a bunch of stuff to circumvent it using cheat engine when you can just use SAM? I don't condone cheating for an achievement, but if you're going to do it, why make it harder on yourself.
And FYI, I didnt research the name of the achievement. The first reply said 10 years, so I assumed that was the achievement you meant, which I assume is the same thing for anyone else.

Steam Achievement Manager. Anyone can get any achievement for any game at any time. It pretty much makes achievements useless for their purpose. Its way too easy to use

If I were to use SAM for anything it would be that Tuesday Achievement as I don't feel comfortable leaving my PC on that long. Still have yet to get that one on the original and I have the go outside for not playing for 5 years in it.

How do you get SAM to see the various achievements for the games? In its menu, the boxes are just black without text.

I don't want to leave my laptop running that long, either. I suggest opening the game, setting the date to a Tuesday at 00:00, and then leave the game open. Set the date to wednesday 00:00, then you should have the achievement.

I don't support cheating in most circumstances, but I'd only do this so I can get an achievement without damaging my laptop.

Because I have better things to do on my computer than leave the game running for a entire Tuesday.
