Is this game good?

Is it as good as people say it is, are the jokes funny and does the novelty where off, can I do more the one play though with it still being fun. Also is it just walking and pressing buttons or is there something more to it game play wise?

the game's only draw is its humor - and humor is extremely subjective
google up "the raphael parable" which is a trailer for the OG game ( and no spoiler )
do you find it funny / enjoy the humor? -> buy this & enjoy

The game is primarily known for its thought-provoking lessons and humor. It's a good experience overall

The game can feel tedious at times, however.
As for replayability, I played it for 10 hours and already think I've seen enough. So, no not really.

Because no 2 players are the same what your judgement for the game may, may not be the same as others, for the most part its best to try it out where you can and judge for yourself.

You can always get a refund if you don't like it with in 2 hours of playtime, I got to say most likely if you play longer than that you most likely do like it since most people like/don't like it with in that time.

There is a demo for the first one if you want to get an idea how this game is that is if your new to it otherwise i skip it. its free so really its up to you on the demo for the first game of this.

I think it's important that games like this exist because there are types of people out there who are going to find enjoyment here. I had no expectations but I wasn't aware it's just a walking sim. after I beat the game (in about 5 minutes, on my 3rd or 4th attempt) I uninstalled, googled out of frustration, and realized a lot of people didn't enjoy this either. I think it comes down to you finding the premise funny. It just wears thin real quick.

It depends on your view of the game, to give an honest judgement over the game though you need to try it out.

It is the best walking simulator on steam for the money on sale or not if you ask me.
